Mark’s journey began in the world of interior design and decoration, where his eye for detail and dedication to quality naturally led him to the world of Venetian plaster. Today, he combines traditional techniques with modern creativity to produce finishes that feel luxurious, tactile, and utterly unique.

What is Venetian Plaster
Venetian plaster or Marmorino, as it’s known in Italy. Is a centuries-old decorative finish made from natural lime, marble dust, and minerals. When applied by hand in fine layers, it creates a smooth, seamless surface that can be polished to a mirror-like shine or left matte for a subtle, stone-like texture.
Unlike paint or wallpaper, Venetian plaster adds real depth and movement to your walls. Each stroke of the trowel catches the light differently, creating a unique play of tone and reflection that evolves throughout the day.
As well as its beauty, Venetian plaster is highly practical, it’s breathable, mould-resistant, and incredibly durable, making it suitable for bathrooms, kitchens, feature walls, and commercial interiors alike.

We begin with a friendly, no-obligation consultation, either in person or online to understand your vision, space, and style preferences. You’ll receive a clear, detailed quote outlining finishes, timelines, and expectations.
2. Sampling & Design
Once you’re ready to move forward, we create custom sample boards so you can see and feel your chosen finish in person. This ensures the texture, tone, and sheen are exactly as you imagined before work begins.
3. Application & Installation
Your chosen finish is hand-applied by Mark James, our master applicator, using traditional Italian techniques and premium materials. We treat your home or business with care, maintaining a clean, professional workspace throughout.
4. Aftercare & Warranty
Upon completion, you’ll receive guidance on how to maintain your Venetian plaster, along with our workmanship warranty, ensuring peace of mind and long-lasting beauty. We’re also available for ongoing touch-ups, maintenance, or future projects.
